OwnerRez's integration with CookinGenie allows hosts to offer their guests a vetted, background-checked, and professional personal chef as an add-on or upsell option and earn money with every referral. CookinGenie chefs shop for groceries, carry any special cooking equipment, cook and plate meals, and clean up the kitchen afterward, bringing a restaurant experience directly to your rental property.

Steps for Integration

This setup ensures a secure and seamless integration between OwnerRez and the CookinGenie Partner Portal, allowing authorized data exchange while maintaining security best practices.

Step 1: Create an Account on the CookinGenie Partner Portal by navigating to partner.cookingenie.com and signing up for an account with your personal details.CookinGenie Partner Portal

Step 2: Authorize OwnerRez with CookinGenie Partner Portal.

• You will be automatically re-directed to OwnerRez login screen. (if not already logged in)
• Once logged in follow the authentication prompts to connect OwnerRez with CookinGenie.Authorize OwnerRez with CookinGenie Partner Portal.

Post-Authorization Data Sync

• Once authorization is completed, Property data will automatically sync from OwnerRez to CookinGenie.
• You will be able to see the property name, address, and contact information under the ‘My properties’ section.

Adding CookinGenie’s Customized Code in Guest Communication

To enhance guest communication, follow these steps to insert CookinGenie’s customized code in OwnerRez guest messaging templates:

• Navigate to the CookinGenie Partner Portal and access the property list screen.
• Click the “Copy HTML for OwnerRez” button located at the top of the screen.
• A preview window will appear, allowing partners to visualize how the CookinGenie banner will look within guest emails.
• Click the Copy button within the preview window to copy the customized HTML code.
• A confirmation message will appear once the code has been successfully copied.

You can add CookinGenie’s customized code to OwnerRez guest messaging templates by navigating to Settings > Messaging > and selecting either a System Message or Template. Paste CookinGenie’s copied HTML code into the message and click Update. You can preview your guest email template after the update by clicking on the “Preview” button.
