GuestSmiles Setup & Connecting

OwnerRez has partnered with GuestSmiles to provide a channel integration connection between the two systems. This allows OwnerRez users to easily handle their listings and bookings from GuestSmiles. Our Channel Management feature is extremely powerful and can greatly simplify your channel advertising. What is synchronized?

Our integration pushes listing content, rates, availability, and rules to GuestSmiles. GuestSmiles will send you bookings with full charge details and credit card information.

Setup

To get the integration process started:

  1. Complete Registration with GuestSmiles by using this link or contacting GuestSmiles support at support@guestsmiles.com.
  2. Under Settings > Channel Management > Channel Integrations > Connect a Channel, select Connect GuestSmiles.Under Settings > API Integrations > Connect a Channel, select Connect GuestSmiles.
  3. Make sure all properties are marked Included on the Properties tab.
  4. Run the Listing Quality Analyzer tool (Tools > Listing Quality Analyzer) and fix any errors found. There are also info and warning items for improvement, but there should be no remaining errors to proceed with the integration.
  5. Contact GuestSmiles support at: support@guestsmiles.com and provide your OwnerRez Account ID.
  6. Once first sync has finalized, use the Change Property Mappings button on the Properties tab and enter the GuestSmiles Prop ID for each OwnerRez property. These are informational and not required – but helpful for debugging.

Delist

If you would like to delist your properties from this channel, please contact their support team at Support@GuestSmiles.com with your Account ID to request to be delisted so they can mark your listing as tentatively deactivated.

Once their support team has notified you that you can disable this channel, you can do so inside OwnerRez.
