Subject
Deprecated Payment Processors - PSiGate, Redsys, Sage Payments, or SecureNet
Body
Hi [first name],
Your current processor, PSiGate, Redsys, Sage Payments, or SecureNet, is deprecated as we are no longer able to provide support for these processors. We are informing you of this so that you can make the necessary accommodations for your business needs.
Your current processor, PSiGate, Redsys, Sage Payments, or SecureNet, will no longer work as of June 1, 2025.
What does this mean for you?
If you haven't already, you should set up a new processor that OwnerRez supports. We advise that you do this as soon as possible to avoid any disruption in payment processing.
OwnerRez no longer receives support for Your current processor, PSiGate, Redsys, Sage Payments, or SecureNet, and there is potential that your existing integration could break before June 1. If that were to happen, we would have no way to fix it.
What actions need to be taken?
Please have a look at all of our supported payment methods and transition as soon as possible. The list of supported processors can be found here:
https://www.ownerrez.com/support/articles/payment-processing-overview#methods
You can find instructions for changing from one processor to another at the link below. Please pay close attention to the steps outlined:
https://www.ownerrez.com/support/articles/payment-processing-gateways-changing
On June 1, Your current processor, PSiGate, Redsys, Sage Payments, or SecureNet, will be removed from the system. If you have not transitioned to a supported payment method prior to that date, you are at risk of not being able to process payments successfully until a supported method is integrated in your account.
With regard to existing bookings, scheduled payments will run as configured if the card details are available to the new processor. The only expected exception is if you switch to Stripe and select the option to use Tokenized Card processing. That would require sending a Request for a New Card to each of your guests manually, or they will receive it automatically on the day the payment is scheduled to run because the attempt to pay will fail.
For Security Deposits:
- Refundable Damage Deposits that are currently held need to be released before June 1st. You will not be able to refund any prior transactions (Booking payments or Deposits) through OwnerRez after June 1st. You may still be able to send a refund through your current processor's dashboard; otherwise, any refunds would need to be handled externally (e.g., Zelle, PayPal, check/money order, etc.).
- Security Deposit Holds that are already scheduled for June 1 or later will need to be Deleted after you set up the new Processor, and a new Hold is scheduled. Any bookings at the end of May with active Holds will have them automatically released; you will not be able to collect against those Holds after May 31. Therefore, we recommend updating all Holds to the new processor effective May 1st or sooner. You can get a report of bookings that will be affected by clicking this link and running the report with the preconfigured settings:
Security Deposits holding after May 1
