Our Channel Management feature simplifies your channel advertising through powerful API integrations with partners like Vrbo and Airbnb. It allows software systems to communicate, enabling OwnerRez to send your property content, rates, rules, and availability. In return, channels provide real-time updates on bookings and guest data.
If you haven't read the Channel Management Overview support article yet, we recommend that you do that first.
After completing your connection to a listing channel (e.g., Airbnb, Vrbo), the final step for your API connection is mapping your property or properties. This final but sometimes overlooked step is crucial to completing your API connection.
To map your property/ies, navigate back to your API Connection (Settings > Channels > API Integrations > your specific Channel > Properties tab > Change Property Mappings.
Your property/ies will be listed on the Change Listing Channel Property Mapping page. Some Column titles (e.g., Listing Number, Listing ID, Listing Slug, etc.) may vary slightly depending on the specific API connection, but the overall process remains similar across all API connections.
If there are specific instructions for that listing channel, they will be displayed at the top of the page. Some listing channels require you to add the Listing Slug, etc., while others do not. We recommend that you add those if you know what they are. For example, bnbfinder requires a specific slug, while Houfy requires a Listing Number, but Glamping Hub doesn't require a Listing Number at all.
On the Change Listing Channel Property Mapping page, add your Listing Number or IDs, if known. Remember to check the Included checkbox and Save.
How will you know that your property is active? On that listing channel, your property/ies will have a Feed Status of Included and a Listing Status of Active on the Properties tab.
Your listing channels will show an Active Status on the API Integrations channel grid.
