Steps for Integration

  1. Visit https://www.tint.ai/ownerrez.

  3. Click “Authorize SmartSTR from Tint"Click “Authorize SmartSTR from Tint
  4. Review your managed properties and complete purchase

Add the Tint Trust & Safety Fee

  • Navigate to Settings > Pricing > Surcharges.
  • In OwnerRez, configure a Surcharge.
    • Select the Category (Management, Property, or Administrative Fee).
    • Change the Surcharge description to “SmartSTR Insurance”
  • Select “Fixed amount” and “Per Night.” 
  • To find the rate to apply, refer to the totals shown on the Taxes and Fees document that was provided at checkout and emailed with your policy documents.
  • Choose your tax option based on your jurisdiction.
  • Select your Property, Seasons (always “All”), and Listing Sites conditions.
  • Under Options, select “Active” for the status (default) and “Autogenerate” for the description.
  • Select your Expense & Commission settings (if applicable) and click Save.

What Data is Transmitted

Tint syncs fields via webhooks for near real-time updates. The data being used by Tint includes:

  • All property details: property ID, address, property type, property photo, active status, associated homeowner, number of bedrooms
  • All homeowner details: homeowner ID, name, active status
  • All booking details: reservation ID, property ID, arrival date, departure date, canceled status
  • Property manager details: property manager ID, name, email
