International Guests

Multi-language booking, travel insurance, and review form options are essential as they enhance accessibility, attract a global clientele, improve your guest experience, and increase your bookings by accommodating non-English speakers.

As OwnerRez continues to expand globally, we understand the importance of offering multi-language options for guests. In the past, using a non-English language with your guest was a very manual process using custom tags or message templates.

Phone Numbers

Maintaining accurate and current guest phone numbers, especially international phone numbers, can pose challenges due to formatting complexities. OwnerRez has implemented international-friendly phone number input processes for all guest forms and in-app guest records.

When a guest or OR user enters a phone number, they can select a country from the phone dropdown menu to ensure their phone number is stored in the correct country code format.

It's important to note that whether the country code is entered or not, upon saving, OwnerRez will store and display the phone number in a clean format in the app.

Guest Forms

International guests can select their language on the guest-facing Review, Travel Insurance, Public Booking Link, and Global Landing Page (through Google Vacation Rentals only at this time) guest forms clicking on the upper right language button.

When guests click the multi-language button, they can select their preferred language.

The Public Booking Link and Global Landing Pages are automatically translated into their selected language (in this example, Italian).

Notice the blue box on the Review guest form is still in English? If you host international guests from a specific region, you could edit the Form Header by navigating to that Form Message to edit the text displayed.

The Review, Travel Insurance, Public Booking Link, and Global Landing Page guest forms are currently the only ones offering a multi-language option at this time. As OwnerRez continues to update other guest forms, multi-language options will be incorporated automatically.

Culture Settings

Users also have the option to change their account Culture settings from English only to eleven languages, including Spanish, French, Dutch, German, Portuguese, Italian, Greek, Danish, Finnish, Swedish, or English.
