OwnerRez has partnered with Florida Rentals to provide an integrated API connection between the two systems. This allows OwnerRez users to handle their listings and bookings from Florida Rentals efficiently. Our Channel Management feature is extremely powerful and can significantly simplify your channel advertising. Learn how it works by reading our Channel Management Overview article.

What is synchronized?

Our integration pushes listing content, rates, availability, and rules to Florida Rentals. Florida Rentals will send you an inquiry filled out with data into OwnerRez.

Florida Rentals syncs every 6 hours, but updates should be displayed immediately or within 1 hour at most.

Even if you have configured your property's maximum number of adults, Florida Rentals does not currently have a method to enforce this rule for inquiries. We suggest that you include your property's maximum number of adults in your Florida Rentals property description.

Setup

To get the integration process started:

1. Inside OwnerRez, go to Settings > API Integrations > Connect a Channel, then select Connect Florida Rentals API.

2. Make sure to configure the channel settings and save.

3. Once you save, find your Account ID on the Instructions tab. You will need to enter this on the Florida Rentals side.

Log in to your Florida Rentals account and go to this form. Enter your OwnerRez Account ID from step 3 and click Connect.

Check your inbox for an email from FloridaRentals.com with the subject line "Thank you and registration confirmation." If, after 48 hours, the sync is not live, please email support@floridarentals.com and include the following:

  • Your Owner Rez Account ID
  • Your FloridaRental Property ID
    • Note: You will find this number at the end of the URL for the property: https://www.floridarentals.com/[property-id]/

Adding an Additional Property

If you have added a new property to your OwnerRez account, and want to push it up to FloridaRentals.com as a new listing, here's how to do that:

  1. Under Settings > API Integrations > click on the FloridaRentals.com API connection.
  2. Use the Change Property Mappings button on the Properties tab.
  3. Your new property should appear on that page and the "Included" checkbox should be checked to be added.
  4. Contact support at:
    support@floridarentals.com
    And request the additional property to be added via your existing OwnerRez API. This can take up to a week to fully sync.
  5. Use the Change Property Mappings button on the Properties tab, and enter the FloridaRentals.com listing number for each newly listed property.

Delist

If you would like to delist your properties from this channel, please email the FloridaRentals support team at support@floridarentals.com. Please include your OwnerRez ID and FloridaRentals ID when you request that your properties be delisted. Once their support team has notified you that you can disable this channel, you can do so inside OwnerRez.
