The ability to create custom fields in OR has allowed us to collect and use valuable customer information that is not stardard to the OR database fields.
When creating these fields we often wish we had the option of field type, for example Picklist (drop-down), Toggle (Yes/No) or simple tick boxes.
This would simplify the form completion process for the guest, help to validate and keep the data collected consistent and eliminate the need to describe how you want the data entered in the text box as part of your custom field description (which has a character limit) allowing PM to include more of the information they actually want to communicate here.
Ideally the guests responses to these questions in the quote acceptance stage could also be used to activate trigger messages as well.
I just updated our Quote Acceptance page to include a few Guest fillable custom fields. One of the fields is called Airport Pick-Up.
I would love to be able to schedule a trigger message follow up based on the answer to that question/field. So if someone said YES they would like airport pick up I could send an email that requested the other information I need like Airport, Airline, Arrival time, number of people etc.
This feature could also be used for early and late check out requests or additional cleaning requests etc.
Any update here with VRBO supporting the API?
That would require a dedicated app, so, no, not in the near future.

Yes I know of that. But I bounce A LOT between properties and the various settings and to my website to see how they appear and affect my site. The shortcuts are only missing that one to make it perfect for me. Just thought it wouldn't be too much to ask and it wouldn't be too much of a consumption of space. The bookings, quotes & inquiries could be and should be condensed to one drop down menu for Bookings, if space is a real issue. I only ever click Bookings, Properties, Settings and Tools. To even add it under Tools would be great. It is a tool. :)
It would be helpful if Tags were shown on the mailing lists. Any way additional column(s) can be added to exports?
E-blasts still work for us. I keep my list under 2K so I can use the free version of MC. Our open rate is about 30% with about 6% clicks.
If you go to your website directly (the actual domain name) there's a bar that shows across the bottom of the website for you to "edit settings" quickly. It detects if you're logged in and shows the bar on your website all the time. That's probably the fastest way to get right to it. It also lets you edit the specific page you're looking at.
I mean the hosted website section in general. And it would be no different than the PM quick access that i don't use. I look over it though. Like others could if they don't use the website.

Not sure exactly what you mean here - are you wanting a link on the main menu to your website? What if you have several?
Or, just to the Hosted Website area? But, what if you aren't using that - seems like it would just take up main-menu real estate to no good purpose?
I would like to see a link or menu item (like in tools menu) or even a button in the header of the software that gives instant access to the hosted website section. A lot of what is done in the rest of the software is reflected in the website and its a pain to make a change and then go find the website again and check it out. To then have to go back and make another change. It's a lot of back and forth. Plus the website is a HUGE player in the grand scheme of things and yet it's so tucked and hidden.
Yes, we are aware of this, but at present Airbnb has no integration API for it available, so it is not possible for us to use that system.
Airbnb just rolled out a new feature, a WiFi tester that confirms the speed in your property and posts the speed on the listing. However, those of us who managed their listings' data via OwnerRez are not able to access this feature. Are you aware of this, and are you in the process of getting it available via OR?
Have you tried "pull down" on the screen? With mobile, that generally triggers a refresh.

The other thing that causes issues is the lack of a "refresh" option in the PWA. Sometimes (especially in areas with bad cell service or wifi), the page won't load, but there's no way to easily trigger a reload.

Not blind. Still in testing and should be out soon (ie. a few weeks now). This got delayed in testing for awhile.
I'll second what Karen said. While I like what RemoteLock is doing, it would be great if I didn't have to pay another charge per door.
This would be a great feature- Trash is one of my biggest challenges/ concerns.
