iOS 16.4 beta allows devs to push notify on web apps. Does OR have plans to implement this or is it already ready to go waiting on Apple?

I love how fast and IT-connected our community is! We were literally just talking about this, internally, when the news came out last night and this morning. Yes, we do plan to implement this, and we've been waiting because Apple didn't have it in the past. We thought about doing the Android version - which has been out of a while - but the majority of the smartphone market is iPhone. We have held off doing the native app for the same reason - wasting resources/time one a partial solution. Now that web apps for phone can do push, it will push this along quickly.
Are browser (at least Chrome) alerts also part of the same development path? I don't know how much of the coding is overlap between the two alert types.
As a related note, I don't know if it is a bug but my team member gets logged out of her home screen IOS app at least daily (it may be more often) even when checking the remember me box. I don't know if this a result of some setting in Safari or IOS (if it is it would be great to have some sort of note on how to address it) or if it is because the admin login seems to be different from team member log in (ie no 2FA for team member even though they have Admin role). Will the alerts still come if they are logged out of the app? If not, this issue will become more salient once the alerts come out.
Thanks you,
Manel
Yes, browser alerts on all major browsers (both mobile and desktop) are on the roadmap, as soon as iOS support comes out of beta:
Ultimately they will work everywhere - Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, etc.
As far as the logout problem, that doesn't sound like it's related to 2FA, but is a different cause. Here are some things to try:

Please develop a way for us to receive notifications from unified Guest messaging. I have a VA that is managing the listing exclusively from OwnerRez and it's imperative that she is able to be notified fo guest messages and can reply in a timely manner. Also, she needs to be able to received notifications of Bookings and whatnot. So that she can review them in a timely manner.
Hello! Have there been any updates to this? I did not realize that this was not an option when I first created my OwnerRez account and website for my rentals. I agree with everyone else that time is of the essence when it comes to guest bookings. They will very quickly look elsewhere. An SMS notification is imperative for STR! Thanks!
Push notifications is now in development. No release ETA yet, but it is currently being worked on!
Are push notifications and/or SMS notifications also going to be developed for Android? Earlier comments seemed to imply that it would only be for IOS, but as another user pointed out Android use globally is actually higher than IOS and in the US almost half the market is Android so that leaves a lot of people without a solution still.
Yes, push notifications are in development for both iOS and Android.
Just checking when can we expect this feature available?

Development is almost complete, and then it will be on to Testing. We're aiming to get it out in Q1. Fingers-crossed!
Hello Shawn, any update on this?
It's in testing... I am told "Very soon."
