We use a heavy and a light task mgmt system to track everything that comes in from a reservation; from payment dates, to accounting entries, verification of cleaning appointment, review timelines, etc. It works for us and I am not suggesting replacing it inside OR. Although that would be an intriguing idea in the product roadmap.
In the shorter term, it WOULD be nice if we could perhaps have a place to enter special requests and, ideally, set a reminder for it. For example, special birthday, wedding (we have had 3 in our cabins this Summer alone), anniversaries, early check-in request (based on availability), perhaps they are having groceries delivered or renting an assistive device or medical equipment, etc. Things that need our attention prior to the guest arrival. These items could even be part of the DAILY CHECKLIST report.
We store this info in Notes, and if we have an associated OmniFocus task or Apple Reminder, then we add the link to that item. But then have to remember to look at the notes. That is where we sometimes fail, because a reminder is not set in the other task system or personal calendar. The other issue with notes is we record a other info in it, such as text messages not captured, descriptions of interactions, and such. For some, it can be too much to just include the NOTES in the Daily Checklist report.
Given the plethora of great web services for reminders and task mgmt, perhaps you could just integrate with an online task manager. Not sure if writing an integration and using it would be easier in the long run that building it in. That's a decision for the team there.
I love the tags and would love to see a color feature added. I use tags for access codes given, paid waiting till 2 days prior for codes, request for early check ins if open, etc and could easily differentiate between them with colors.
Yes, this feature has been commonly requested, but is quite complex. We do intend to add it at some point in the future, but it is uncertain as to exactly when.
Hello,
It would be great if OwnerRez would "remember" the options chosen or not selected on reports the next time that report is run.
We use the "Daily Checklist" every day and it would be nice if we didn't have to select the options each day but have OwnerRez remember what the options were the last time the report was run.
Hey folks,
I know there is a "Duplicate" Feature to create a new property using some of the basic info of another property. However, I find that I am doing a ton of leg work even with this feature. I would propose a clone feature that would copy absolutely everything from one property to the a new record... or even a further enhancement of asking the user what they want to clone (pictures, rates, policies, amenities, etc.). This would greatly speed up the addition of similar or identical properties.
We do have plans to add some automation around reviews, but you've got to be careful of the Airbnb TOS here too -- "all reviews must be written by the owner" etc.
I've recently read about third-party solutions that do this, but it would sure be nice to have in OR itself. Does the AB API support this, or are these other solutions using screen-scrapers?
Ideally, I'd like it to default to leaving 5* reviews on a certain configurable time after check-out to give my cleaners time to inspect the property and notify me of any issues unless I go into the booking and tick an option "not a 5* guest" (where it will then not leave the automatic review and instead let me do so manually).
YES! Custom reports ASAP please!
Hello there,
Are there any plans to implement submitting automatic Airbnb reviews for guests?
This would help us a lot.
Thanks in advance for the consideration.
I agree. I'd especially like the ability to group line item charges and discern between surcharges. Surcharges for extra guests vs. cleaning fees for instance, one which is really rent and the other which is an expense.
The ability to change some total cells to averages instead for ADR and ADG like in my other suggestion on this forum would be highly appreciated as well.

It seems like many users could use a code field of the last four digits of the Guest Primary Phone Number. I set a custom field for that, but I have to enter the four digits manually. Many people use those digits for locks on primary entries and personal safes.I use the calendar widget on my wordpress site. It appears that I can choose the color on the calendar for unavailable dates, but cannot choose the color for available dates. I wish I could make the available dates green, and the unavailable grey. The way it is now, there is not enough contrast between the grey unavailable and the default available color so then people inquiring get confused. I could make the unavailable dates red to improve the clarity but my designer partner won't let me because the red is too bright and clashes with the color scheme of our web site.
I love this idea
Hello,
When working on Seasonal Rates I'd like to request that if a filter has been applied for a specific property then ONLY the seasons that are associated with that property should be shown in the dropdown menu for "Seasons".
I have 10 properties in my business account so that means there are a lot of different seasons in the Seasonal Rates area. It is a real pain in the neck to have to sift through all 35 seasons to check the ones that are associated with this particular property.
Thanks for giving my suggestions some consideration!

Have you been able to add the multiple payments options yet? If so, where do I go to set this up, especially with channel manager?Would be great of a trigger that can be set up for un-booked inquiries.
Meaning, there was an inquiry, dates are still available, quote or response was sent, but traveler has not booked it in <number of days>.
So something like this:
Inquiry quoted = yes;
Inquiry booked = no;
Days after quote created = <number of days>
So that we can create a triggered follow up email or text.
Great point. We have a lot more coming to that area as "Communication" will include email, platform, SMS and voip. I will look into whether we have a ticket for that already, but I agree that the search-for-this-booking should include all types.
Hello,
I realize that the Airbnb messaging in OR is a fairly new development and I'm sure you are still working on it and making improvements.
Today I discovered that on an individual booking (Booking # ORB2850833) after clicking on "Search Emails" to view the communication history for that booking there is a new tab for "Airbnb".
When I clicked on that tab I see ALL of the messages on my Airbnb inbox.
I'd like to suggest that ONLY messages relating to that particular booking be shown in this Communication history option on the booking.
In the "Airbnb Messages" on the CRM tab it is appropriate to see ALL of the messages as it is currently shown.
Thanks for your consideration!
(PS - I just realized that the same suggestion would be helpful for the "Email" tab in Communication History. That tab also shows ALL emails sent in OR, not just those related to that particular booking. It would be nice to only see emails sent for that particular booking in the Communication History.)

I see some posts regarding adding Zapier Integration. Is this anywhere on the roadmap?
Tons of apps are using Zapier now adays and would allow people to further customize OR to fit their needs.
For instance I use Wave Accounting, it is free and in my opinion is just as good as QuickBooks. So while I would love a true API connection I wouldn't expect you to code one just for me. But with Zapier I could set up so many different triggers like adding customers directly to Wave and importing revenue, etc etc. I also use Podio for task management. Once again with Zapier I could have it set a reminder to change door codes since I'm not with one if your partners that connect automatically.
Anyways, I am in my trial period and loving all OR has to offer. Just think Zapier is a natural fit that would make it so much better
Thanks

Perfect thanks. Looking forward to it.
Awesome! This'll be a great update!
Just wanted to drop a quick note here... This is finished now (through dev) and in testing as I write this. Probably out live by end of August. 😉
Now that you have rolled out full AirBNB and VRBO/HA integration, you've positioned yourself where we (owners/PMs) can use OwnerRez as a single point of management. And I thank you for that! But because of that, you need to up your game on the reporting front. :) Would like to see a much more flexible reporting engine, including saving custom reports. Thank you!
Ditto on this! I want to send email to a SMS gateway but I don't want guests receiving text messages at 3am!!!
Yes, this is a known feature request. It's somewhat complicated to do though, so we don't have an ETA for it at this time.
We're planning much more functionality in this area as it evolves over time. This'll take a while to get where it needs to be, but you should see improvements.
