Hi Ken, I am also interested in the ability to auto-generate management agreements that could be signed using the digital signature feature. I'm not sure if this is what you meant when you said this is now possible, if so, how do we do that?
I was wondering if you were able to auto-generate management agreements that could be signed using the digital signature feature?
As other's have mentioned, there doesn't seem to be a way to set reminders for future monthly payments for long term bookings. If that could be added, it would be very helpful!
I would also vote for this if possible to get the guest phone numbers into their system. Will automatically text guest if noise levels get too high.
We have found that guests are much more likely to communicate and respond to SMS messages. Unfortunately this is only available in North America at the moment. Please may we see the introduction of world wide text messaging.
You can add a Tag group to the Guest record for this. Then tag your guests as verified or not.
Adding a synch to Google Places or Yelp would be a great addition.
I did the same, but it would be nice to add functionality for Matterport 3-D tours in the new Video link on photos (extending from just You Tube & Vimeo.
If you add a product to the item catalog they maps to the right tax category in Quickbooks, you can still use their native tax reporting. You just need to map it to the right GL category for Sales/Lodging Tax
It would be nice to have an option to just turn the email into an AirBNB message, essentially removing all HTML formatting. Then the messaging could be maintained in one place, not two for the same exact messages that are just different due to messaging channel. This could be extended to SMS too.
I add a Property for each property, a Customer for the Owner, & then the Guest as Sub-Customers of the Owner. To enable the trust accounting, I also have a corresponding Vendor record for the Owner, where I create a bill for each booking, including the commission, making all the guest charges billable. Then when I settle up each month, I have all the proper debits & credits in Quickbooks. It would be nice to have a more robust integration to enable this, as well as other linking in Quickbooks to Guests/Owners/Properties/Classes to eliminate duplicate entries.
It would also be nice to allow the dynamic pricing integration to bundle the 2 prices and increase/decrease the bundled price. This would help ensure there aren't strange things happening outside OwnerRez that need to be separately managed manually and would easily allow for the correct splits across owners for bundled listings, based upon the pricing each owner gets.
For owners with gaps in guest stays and high heating/cooling costs, having this integration would pay for itself.
Can you see if they can return a tag that can be used in a triggered email within OwnerRez. It could suppress the door code email and notify the owner/manager that the reservation needs attention.
We have a Facebook page we use to promote direct bookings. They now have a hotel API, so it would be great to have this added as a channel in OwnerRez: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/marketing-api/hotel-ads/catalog#hotel-api
Yes, this is an important function we need too!
I have so many airbnb guests call me concerned about the legal agreement email. What if it were fashioned more like an online check in? Where they fill out basic contact info and maybe vehicle type along with whatever else and then check a box that consents to terms...
I think it would be more inviting, less threatening and in turn gain more contact info about the airbnb guests.
If only the system alerts could be modified!
In the meantime, please add the CC fees to the Payment collected email and maybe a total to be disbursed (total collected minus fees). That's the first thing I have to look for in the system after getting a payment so that I have the info needed to update my accounting. Thanks.
Right now, the only field option to use the owner's name (in an email template to send them owner statements) includes their full name: first and last. When have we started an email with Hi FirstName LastName? Never. 😉 Please provide the option to enter owner's first and last names separately so they can be used individually as a field as needed.
There is no book it now functionality for owner reservations on Instagram currently. It is hard to evaluate something that is not activated yet.
We’re seeing more and more engagement on Instagram every month. It is something that we need to be ready for and anticipate. People use it a heck of a lot more than email, websites or FB now.
OR - Please add this feature.
does anyone actually book on IG? we have had IG for years and post regularly. Judging by Google Analytics, it is a dud.
I understand both sides to your idea. As a whole though I think it could be very helpful and effective in a diverse number of ways!
Specifically to your case, it sounds amazing.
In my case, id LOVE to get a confirmation they have read the house rules. I have a houseboat that requires you to flip a switch on while you shower, in order to pump the water out of the boat... or else it builds up in the hull of it. NO ONE must read the rules, even though they are in huge bold font right at the top of the page, and my husband is always having to pump it out at least once every week. So a confirmation button would be great. Otherwise, I'm left being pesky by asking them if they read it and reminding them to read it. Without knowing they have, I'm just annoying them with old news.. if they have read it, that it is!
High five to your idea!!
yes!! This would be great. We do 95% of our business from instagram marketing and influencers.
I vote 10 times for this!
Kudos to you! Problem solved!! Awesome awesome!
Much appreciation!!

The default iCal export link doesn't include any guest info because it's meant to be shared publicly to other listing sites.
You can create additional links and include more information like guest name or even create a fully custom export using field codes.
Here's how to do that: https://www.ownerrez.com/support/articles/custom-ical-links
Then you'd take that custom iCal export and use that to import into Google Calendar rather than the default iCal export.
When i used Lodgify, i synced with goggle calendar and used the monthly view widget as a whole page on one of my phones home screen, just as i do now with Ownerrez. The information fed from Lodgify through sync was different than what is fed from Ownerrez through sync. All i would like is the name of the guest included in the data. I can better personalize their experience and time with me and my place if i see them as a name and not just a booking.
Shouldn't be too hard to make happen huh? I don't want a whole app. Just more synced info on my calendar widget.

To have a more secure platform would be great! It'd be devastating if my OR account was hacked.
Is there an update on whether you can require phone numbers on the form? I can't seem to find where to do it...
Thanks for your reply, Shawn. I had searched for it prior to adding my request, but nothing popped up, so I didn't know it had already been requested. Thanks again for letting me know it is on the roadmap.
