Regarding ranking, synced reviews don't have an effect -- they are informational but do not affect the star average or rating.
I've sent an email to the OR support, as you suggested.
Please note that this is a serious problem because, as a result of this problem, our VRBO rankings are effected very badly!
Here is the summary of the problem again:
I noticed that the reviews synced from OR to VRBO (synced before the syncing problem started) are not shown anymore on VRBO. As a result, our VRBO rankings started to suffer.
These reviews in the VRBO dashboard show "invalid date" instead of the stay period.
Can you write in to Help@OwnerReservations.com with examples of specific listings that are newly missing reviews?
It looks like VRBO removed the reviews that came from OR. Do you experience the same issue?
VRBO stopped publishing new reviews that come from OR some time ago (see the following link) but removing them is something new!
Is anyone else experiencing thism problem? Could one of the OR team members contact VRBO to get an answer from them?
We sent a note to Helpdesk last Wednesday. We also sent updates a couple of times until we realized doing so put us at the end of the queue every time. Thats what brought us here. 😊
The SMS system is entirely separate from your website hosting, so, no, this shouldn't have had any effect. Please write in to the Helpdesk with specific information and details about what isn't working as expected, so we can investigate.
Hello! I've been with OR for about 4 years now. Have always had good success with customer service requests. Not so much lately. Maybe someone here have help. The problem: our SMS capability is no longer working properly. The only thing that is different as of lately is that we recently migrated our site to a new server along with corresponding dns settings. Wondering if these changes have somehow affected our sms capability.

I am just working through getting set up on OR and would like some advice about first steps to managing my auto messaging. My first question is, if I do nothing what messages will get sent out (once I am API connected) and my second question is that I have about 5 scheduled messages that I use for Airbnb. How do I start putting these into OR? Do I then delete the scheduled messeges from Airbnb?

Hello! We are fairly new to the STR world (this is our 3rd year) and we have had and currently have a property manager. We are exploring our options for direct bookings and are loving the hosted OR website. We are muddling through the components as we are not html / website creators. A friend has been helping us to get the site started. Still a lot to do outside of the "pretty" stuff, but love the ability to check in in this forum and overall the incredible options with using OR. I recently started up HatterasIslandVacationRentals.com and so far I'm a huge fan of OwnerRez. I've been doing long-term rentals for 15+ years and in the past few years got into vacation rentals. My site currently has 4 large beach vacation rental homes on Hatteras Island and I'm planning for more in the near future.
That already exists - it's just under Accommodations, not Amenities.
Is it possible to add a EV charger to the Amenities checklist?
Hi my husband and I renovated our home we raised our kids in and started renting it out 2 years ago. We both work full time jobs plus run our Villa. We are happy to have found this platform and are working on our website to capture future guests without using Airbnb so much.
Unfortunately, at present, you cannot, at least not through OwnerRez. But, most email inboxes have a capability for filtering and forwarding emails that match certain parameters, so, you could likely configure that in your primary account email to forward those messages onward to some other address.

No, Vrbo doesn't have a partial option like Airbnb does - it's all or nothing.
The error message you are seeing is normal - it indicates that Vrbo hasn't set up their end of the API yet. This shouldn't take longer than a week, but if it does, write in to the Helpdesk to investigate and/or call Vrbo IPM tech support to check on the status of your API integration project.
I tried searching but couldnt quite find this.
I am in the process of finalizing documentation (need STR permit) for my Airbnb and VRBO listing. neither listing is "Active" right now, only awaiting that permit to upload.
For Airbnb, it allows me to do a limited sync and connected successfully.
For VRBO, 1 - i did not see that as an option. is it an option? do i have to push everything from OR to Vrbo?
