    ...I'm talking about these things:

Yep, those things. And yes, we've known about it too. To make matters worse, as you keep clicking stuff, new pop-over cards would open even though the old ones didn't close. You had to click on the same link as before to close a single card. We finally had enough and fixed this. It is much easier no...

...🐪 Although, I'm getting this out late, so it's probably already past Hump Day for our European and Asian users.

Last week, we mostly worked on major updates that aren't quite finished - long term stuff - but there were a few things that went out, so let's take a second to go over them...

...r 2, the agency only gets commission on 2. TAs sort of take it in the shirt either way, but it is how it has historically been done.

Vrbo really shouldn't be able to grab additional commission on stuff not booked through them. Maybe the OR team needs to go back to Vrbo and bring this up in light of how commissions work with other parts of the travel industry? Ultimately, it's OR that reports the re...

Surely there’s some way we could turn on a fee calculation that auto populates for VRBO bookings. This repetitive manual stuff is so 2010.

Would it be stepping over the line to alert people to three free days of webinars from vacation rental industry experts? It is free, and I did this last year. And I didn't sign up for any paid version of it. No I have nothing to do with it. I just got an email about this year's version

Most people can learn a huge amount about vacation rental stuff from this.

I just went through all the steps and spoke to Namecheap and they got all my DNS stuff connected, etc.  Everything is showing good.

So.... do I change my email to my business email now?  Or do I leave everything in my account as my @gmail.com?

I guess I'm just a little confused how everything needs to be set up.

    Thanks!!

I HATE the process in place for the channel bridge...yes, it's probably just me...we go to the extension ( since chrome upgrade those are hidden, btw, and cannot figure out how to get them on my small tablet). Why can't we put all channel bridge "stuff" on one page instead of the extension...then the download...then go to another page to upload...awful.

We got delayed on this because our HomeAway API integration took a bit longer than expected. That's in beta now and releasing in a couple weeks, so the SMS stuff will be coming very soon!

I'll have a look at this. Can you send me the link for the VRBO iCal in question? I believe they're changing up some stuff with that sync, so we may need to adapt on our end.

We're not quite finished with this release but you'll be back up and running in a day or so. We're in the process of releasing all the new stuff now.

If you go to the Linked Accounts sections (link here:)

You can see what accounts you have linked and provide credentials for them if they're not already filled in.

You can fill in your listing IDs (such as your...

...inor one-offs, we're working on email-related features for the next several sprints. It will probably be a good 3-4 months before we switch to another big area because there's a lot of email-related stuff we need to do.

I can't promise exact dates for templates or mail merge but that's a huge part of this. Nearly everything you've asked for, as it relates to email, has been scheduled except for the...

    2) For amenities, we've thought about that but the problem is if we put it in a widget then it's going to affect the SEO on your site. Google doesn't search stuff in widgets as well as they do things that are written out directly on the site which is why we've so far avoided making widgets for the content parts that you do want to SEO.

    - the email(s) you got as both the guest and owner and their language
    - the renter agreement you signed

    - the rules about when future stuff will be collected

Online transactions like vacation rentals, especially card not present, are probably in the high risk category. Think Lynbrook specialized in VRs. Maybe openedge not. This kind of stuff may only get worse.

What sort of software are you looking for? Most should work in terms of pasting HTML into OR, just as long as there isn't any extra stuff like <script> tags. Are you running into an issue?

PriceLabs has a feature to dynamically adjust your night gaps based on criteria you set.

Don't get it for that feature alone, the dynamic pricing and market pricing info will pay for itself in spades. The gap management and other stuff is icing on the cake.

...They get 150/month per property flat regardless of cleaning for doing the above. The better cleaners value this position. They have 3 or 4 properties on the same street so they can group the above stuff together - easy money. Most of them are married and both husband and wife and maybe a grown child or two helps as part of the "team" so one person isn't doing it all all the time.
