We have reached out to our engineering contacts at VRBO, and they have confirmed that this *will not* have any effect on API clients.

That's something you'd need to set in the Google Calendar options - we are pushing the information out via the iCal feed, but we don't control how Google displays it.

You can use SMS to manually send messages to any guest. You can also configure automatic templates and triggers to be used for booked guests. Just not inquiries yet.

Yes, this feature was added. Generally, it is controlled in the Triggers - if you are using a trigger that is sent at a scheduled time, you're now allowed to select an actual time as well as a date.
