Check Payments Due

Hi Michelle,

You have the charge that gets charged, whenever however many days we decide, for the balance due. Does an email go out for the balance due, via check?

When I go back to look at where it might say the due date I can't seem to find it. Usually, don't you have all the information on when it was paid and when the payments are due? Nowhere on the guests info do I see when the balance is due. I had to go into the archives and look at my rental agreement. Am I missing something?

You're correct. Currently, second payments for non-credit card bookings (check, cash) are not displayed. If you recall, we just recently added check payments to the process. Before that, everything was credit card across the board. This is very high on our To Do list though.

No more update or ETAs yet, but thank you for checking back and nudging it. Payment reminders and scheduled non-CC payments are highly requested.

Has there been any progress with this?  Is there any report that shows when the 1st and 2nd payments are due if not using credit cards?

We are also interested in a payment/aging report showing the outstanding amounts due and due dates for our upcoming check payments.

We recently switched over to a 2 payment model since OwnerRez does not support 3 payments.

Our properties are setup for 20% due on signing and the remaining 80% due 90 days prior to the arrival.

We use checks and so the "Scheduled Payments" on the Payment Summary or Payment Detail Reports does not work.

I think you are responding to her basically asking the same question I have. The guest would like to make 4 payments for their reservation. Even if we require credit cards, is this possible to set up multiple installments like that?

Hey Renee,

OwnerRez is only configurable for two automatic payments at this time, but you can set up multiple payments manually. Here's how to go about that:
