Integration with Marriott Homes and Villas

We were contacted by Marriott about listing our portfolio on their site. Any plans to integrate with them? It seems they are putting a lot into marketing so might become a good channel to add. They said as of now we are not able to list on their site because we don't have a connection with their current partners.

We've actually met with them, but at present, they're oriented towards very large operations (hundreds or thousands of properties under one management), which isn't the bulk of OwnerRez clients.  This will likely change in the future, and when it does, we'll integrate.

No updates on our side yet.  However, we have learned that Marriott has lightened the requirements to join so smaller PMs and homeowners may qualify.  From a development standpoint, we're looking to do this in Q2 of 2023 at this point but that could change.

Hi Paul, 

I'm in discussions on a pilot smaller group in Blue Ridge of luxury properties for Marriot (HVBM), we have gotten a lowered threshold to 15 properties, but they are asking if we connect to any of the other PMS they use. (BookingPal, NextPax, and RentalsUnited). They were saying the simplest thing is to have OR connect to these other channel managers, but I'm not even sure what that means. 

Any advice?

I recently had a conversation with my contacts at Marriott, but I am waiting to hear back from their team to see if they are ready to move forward with this integration. Hopefully, in the next few weeks, we can get a plan laid out. The good news is they have significantly lowered the number of properties you must have before they talk to you. The required number is currently 20 properties. This is still higher than we would like, making Marriott unusable for many of our customers. But we understand those with 20+ properties want this and are willing to work with Marriott to make that happen, ideally sooner rather than later.

No updates on our side yet. Waiting to hear back from Marriott. There is no ETA at this time.

We are looking to connect to Marriot ourselves. The threshold has been lowered and we certainly believe it's a large aggregated value partner, mucho more than most STR properties.

We hope this could be prioritized.

We regret to inform you that integrating with Marriott Homes and Villas is currently not a part of our 2024 roadmap. Make sure to subscribe to this forum for any future updates regarding Marriott Homes and Villas.

We have 48 properties and are ready to move forward with Marriott.  Would like to see this added back to the consideration field.   TIA.

Please put Marriott integration in the development pipeline.  You risk losing some of your larger luxury PMs without this channel.  Thank you.

Putting in another vote to revisit this integration!   With 51 Luxury Properties, we are very interested in partnering with Marriott.

I read that the Marriot integration is in the works for 2025.  Is this plan in place?  We have been looking at other STR software that has this feature. 

We would love to be able to integrate with Marriott.
