Check-In & Out Allowed Days

Would be nice if there was an easier way to block dates for check-in & out. For example, I don't want anyone checking in or out on a holiday, but there's no place in the holiday settings to show that. That seems to mean I have to set up a season for every holiday, every year, because the day-of-week or the date changes each year. Maybe you could add something on the Holidays page with generic check boxes to allow in/out day of, day before and day after. Would love check boxes for every holiday, but that may be too much. Thanks!

Yes, we're seeing more and more requests for this feature, so it'll probably come along eventually.

Is there a way to block specific dates for check-in & out?
- Example: Can Christmas Day be blocked off to not allow check-in & out?

Unfortunately, the only way to do that is to create a special season for just that one day, and control the checkin/checkout dates in that season.

With my old PMS, you could set allowed check-in/out days on any day in Pricelabs, which was incredibly helpful when you ended up with gaps that wouldn't typically be bookable.

You can already disable Saturday check-out directly on the Property > Rules, or per Season. This request is for blocking check-out on a Holiday and/or specific date.

Can you specify where under the Rules section to block Saturday Check in/out?

There's a checkbox grid at the very bottom of the screen.

Has this feature been released? I’m hoping to prevent people from checking in/out on thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Eve, etc. I set minimum night stays around the holidays but I couldn’t find where to prevent check in/out on the actual holiday

I've only just started to use OwnerRez and restricting check in check out on major travel days was my first priority. So it was disappointing that OwnerRez does not have this feature, especially when inferior systems do!  I wanted to stop check ins and outs on December 25, 26, 31, Jan 1, July 3, 4 and so on. Ultimately, I had to create a new season for each day, as this is the only way to restrict the check in and check out. Any serious property manager would want this feature as it really does increase revenue. I hope all you guys at OwnerRez are listening! LOL

I would like to be able to block EITHER check in or check out on specific days (like Christmas). I don't care if people are doing one or the other on the holidays, but I want to prevent my cleaning crew from doing a flip on holidays. Please consider implementing; this seems like easy coding and would be super helpful!

For sure you should vote if you haven’t already - this should be a feature

Will this be a thing on PriceLabs too? I really miss that feature from my old PMS.
