Right before release, we discovered an issue and yanked the bottom out to not create confusion. The engineering work to put it back is already under way, along with some stuff to make it better.
Apologies for the heartburn, but it'll be fixed extremely soon.

A guidebook would be nice but not if it comes with all of this other duplicative stuff.
I want OR to do it all and not have to bolt on all of these other apps.
I wonder if OR just wants to check another box (integrations) at the expense of really evaluating whether the App inte...

I have had a couple of calls with support they have some really cool stuff coming down the pipe... like OR they launch new features monthly and sometimes more often.
They don't have Daikin integration yet but will likely come soon if the Thermostat feature takes off......
True. But the ARDI coverage here is $20 for $1000. This is $29 for $10,000 plus a lot of other stuff.
HomeAway is trying to get people to elect $49 pdp. This is much better compared to that.
...sheets, etc - all are never more than a few hundred bucks at most. Having 10 grand of coverage is pointless if you never use all that.
PS. Our regular HOI insurance on the houses covers really big stuff with a 500/1000 deductible (and short term renter/liability is specifically mentioned as a named coverage) so anything that would be 10 grand we can cover with that.
On the Amenities page, is it possible to add several checkboxes. Perhaps under a Green section?

Hi GreenJoe,
Ah yes, the Airbnb-style stuff. HomeAway has been trying to duplicate what Airbnb does for the past two years. I figured that was what you were referring to. We're not terribly concerned about it, given HomeAway's track-record and their marketbase. FlipKey has recently been walking down the same road. Both HA and FK don't seem to realize that many of their customers don't want to be...
...te end changes instantly because it's built on the same infrastructure. All of our security, routing, load balancing, etc infrastructure handles the website end so you never need to worry about that stuff. And your page are always up to date because it pulls directly your OR account.

...template!
HomeAway strips out a ton of formatting from the email in their effort to block all contact info. They basically convert everything to plain text, and their conversion algorithm can jumble stuff up.
I had a look at your email template and there was still some hidden formatting in there that might have been confusing the HA system. I stripped every last bit of formatting for you -- AVAILGEN...
No updates yet - sorry about that! 😥
We keep having to back-burner stuff like that because of important features that pop up. We just finished a large HomeAway API update for instance which slowed down a bunch of other things. And now we just signed with Airbnb so that will be coming too in the near future, also slowing down some things. There are certain features that we are forced to drop everyt...
...r for centralizing guest records so that you can have an actual CRM system and do reports on your repeat guests and up-selling and such. Obviously custom fields for that would have to wait until CRM stuff was actually out. I can tell you that it will probably a good deal of time before that happens.
There is a lot of focus right now on things like:
- Auto responders for inquiries
- Rules (which go...
...d template that you didn't intend for everyone in the past to get.
It sounds like you're looking for a marketing tool to send newsletter type content out. I don't think any of our scheduled sending stuff fits that bill at the moment. I suppose if we allowed you to take a template and do a one-time in-place send to all bookings (or a filtered list of them), that would meet your need. Something to th...
...d from OwnerRez to the channel, overwriting whatever may already be there. If you want to add a new property, don't bother to do that in the channel; do it in OwnerRez, and then let OR push all that stuff to the channel when you turn on the API connection for that property, which is what it's going to do anyway.
2. If you are *not* using an API connection, you can import property listing information...
From what I've heard, OR is working on getting channel messaging (i.e. replying through Vrbo, Airbnb, etc.) implemented, so once that goes live, we'll be able to send some stuff there, although rich content like PDF welcome packets and things might still have to go via email, and URLs might get censored (TBD).
I signed up for Touch Stay (they were a vendor at the Scottsdale Vrbo conference). It was ab...
