Hi I noticed that guest instruction and house manual in properties setting are for airbnb and ownerrez only. Do I need to put welcome guide for VRBO separately on the VRBO platform? Welcome guides are not supported by the API between OwnerRez and Vrbo at this time, I'm afraid. I believe once you're API connected, there's no longer a place to include it on the Vrbo end.
However, what you enter on the Property > Guest Instructions page can be leveraged in Field Codes in OwnerRez messaging! By doing so, you have more control over who is able to receive that information. Keep in mind that what you enter there will feed to Airbnb via the API. The timing on which Airbnb sends that information out is beyond OR's control.
Similarly, from the Vrbo article you linked:
The welcome guide information is emailed to your guests in the language you wrote it in, three days before check-in. The details will no longer be available once they check out, or if they cancel the booking. Only guests with a confirmed booking will have access to information from your welcome guide.
Do you not want to provide this information until you're certain that a booking has paid in full, or until you've already received a signed Rental Agreement, reserved a Security Deposit, etc.? You can do that in OwnerRez! Triggers can be configured to send, or not send, based on specific conditions. If you require a signed Rental Agreement (for example) before this information is provided to the guest, you can do that with our system.
Because those fields do sync to Airbnb, we often recommend that you put something along the lines of "Provided prior to arrival" in those fields. This way, you can use OR custom templates and triggers to manage who gets those instructions, and who shouldn't until they've met your requirements. Up to you!
