When making a manual booking there is currently no option to turn on the same kind of email automation used for regular bookings through API or quotes. Would be nice to have these as an option for manual bookings.
As an alternate/stopgap a warning message about automation NOT BEING AVAILABLE would help too.
YES!!!!!
I just got messed up and almost lost $1100 from a booking that I didn't see had not collected the final payment.
Sometimes people want to do the booking over the phone and not the internet, which is why its a 'manual' booking. Especially older people who we cater to.
Thank you for also suggesting this.
I don't really understand the original request? My guests get sent a rental form for all manual bookings regardless of how they arrive. Having a signed rental agreement is essential. All my automation runs off of that in just the same way it would from an API booking. Although different routes are followed depending on the source the principle is the same.
It would be nice to be able to do the opposite "Skip All" Button on bookings messages.
For example, a guest stays for a few days then comes back 3 days later and pays cash. I don't want all the emails sent to them again.
It's now harder to select skip on any messages as it's in a drop-down now whereas it used to be a button. I have mentioned this before but it never got reverted.

Not sure, I assume you're doing it manually, but Ken told me that the default for manual bookings is for the standard automated emails to be turned off. I know that's what happened in my case.
