The summer waves of product changes and improvements peaked in July. Catch the cool new features and handy tools that were introduced over five weeks.

New Features

Tag Automations

Automation processes for your vacation rental business can increase efficiency, reduce errors, lower costs, boost productivity, and free up time for higher-value tasks, leading to improved overall business performance.

With our July 31st release, OwnerRez introduced Tag Automations. Tag Automations will automatically add or remove existing tags to a booking's general info tag section based on criteria you set for the automation. Those applied or unapplied automated tags can then be used in your triggers to send your specific templates.

Maybe you want a pets tag auto added for you so it shows up on the Booking List View? Or you want to tag if a booking's renter agreement has been signed or not - these are just a couple examples of tag automations you can set up.

Send your Pet Agreement to guests who book with their pets as soon as the booking occurs by using the booking criteria section tag automation example.

You can use such tags to then automatically "Tell Cleaning Staff About Special Preparations Needed for an Upcoming Booking" template and trigger, your cleaning staff will be automatically notified about special prep for new booking based on the tag.

You can get started adding your own Tag Automations to existing tags by navigating to Settings > Workflow & Devices > Tag Automations > + Create Tag Automation.

Add a Tag Automation to existing tags by navigating to Settings > Workflow & Devices > Tag Automations > + Create Tag Automation.

The possibilities for Tags and Tag Automations are endless, limited only by your imagination. There will be more tag automation possibilities in the future, as we plan to add additional criteria options - think optional surcharges, etc.!

Learn more by reading the Tag Automations support article.

Please note: Automated tags are only applied/unapplied to bookings created after July 31, 2024. We may update that applicability in a future release. Also if you manually add or remove a particular tag, it will no longer be touched by the tag automation for the system assumes you added or removed for a reason.

Multi-Language Support for Guest Forms

As OwnerRez users increasingly have international guests, we understand the importance of offering multi-language options. We've added multi-language options to the redesigned guest forms to help with this. It moves us closer to fully supporting other languages on all guest-facing forms.

You can change from English to any of the other ten supported languages: Spanish, French, Dutch, German, Portuguese, Italian, Greek, Danish, Finnish, and Swedish. Your choice will determine which language your account's guest forms default to. However, guests can change the default language on the form.

Please note: This capability is available only on the Review Request, Travel Insurance Purchase, and Global Landing Page guest forms.

You change the default language setting for these forms by navigating to Settings > Branding & Legal > Culture > Change.

You can also change the default currency and date format settings to display your preferred currency and date format settings by navigating to Settings > Branding & Legal > Culture > Change.

For example, guests can select a different language by clicking on the upper right language button when they arrive at the Global Landing Page (if you use that option for Google Vacation Rentals).

When international guests book on your Global Landing Page (through Google Vacation Rentals only at this time), they have the option to select a different language by clicking on the upper right language button.

When guests click the multi-language button, they can select their preferred language.

When a guest clicks on the language button, they can select their preferred language.

The Global Landing Page is automatically translated into their selected language (in this example, Italian):

The Travel Insurance Purchase guest form also includes the multi-language option:

The Travel Insurance guest form also includes a multi-language option for international guests.

The same multi-language option is available on the Review Request guest form:

International guests have the same multi-language option on the Review guest form as well.

Notice the blue box on the Review guest form is still in English? That is a Form Message and they are not translated automatically at this time. You can edit/add Form Messages by navigating to the Form Messages area to edit the text displayed.

Some error and validation messages on the forms are also not translated at this time. Those will be updated in a future release.

As OwnerRez continues to update other guest forms, multi-language options will be incorporated automatically.

Copy Existing Hosted Website Capability

Occasionally, you may need to update your website as you add or remove properties to/from your portfolio. Starting over with a new hosted website, however, may be daunting.

With OwnerRez's July 17th release, that process is less daunting, as you can now duplicate your existing hosted website. During the process, you can copy your existing hosted website and switch the newly duplicated website from a Single to a Multi-property or vice versa!

  • If you don't convert this newly copied hosted website from Single to Multi-property or vice versa, all webpages will remain the same as the hosted website you are copying.
  • If you change your newly copied hosted website from Single to Multi-property or vice versa, the system will reset webpages and widgets to accommodate this change. A warning callout below the dropdown menu will include, "If you change the type of website to [single or multiple], some pages will be reset to accommodate [single or multiple] properties."

To copy your existing hosted website, navigate to Settings > My Website > Hosted Websites > and select which Hosted Website you want to copy by clicking on the Copy Existing Website dropdown menu.

Copy your existing hosted website, by navigating to Settings > My Website > Hosted Websites > and select which Hosted Website you want to copy by clicking on the Copy Existing Website dropdown menu.

When you copy your existing hosted website, you can select the number of properties and which properties you want to include in this newly copied hosted website.

When you copy your existing hosted website, you can select the number of properties and which properties you want to be included in this newly copied hosted website.

Copying your existing hosted website will not change the original template you selected. We recommend thoroughly reviewing all web pages of your newly copied hosted website to ensure they align with your original intent. It's not magic, so it won't get everything how you need it, but it's a much closer effort than starting from scratch!

Brand Icons for Manual Payments and Hosted Websites

Many OwnerRez users offer manual payment options for their guests, including CashApp, Venmo, and Zelle. Now, you can add those brands' icons to your manual payment methods. As before, you can select a color for the icon you choose.

We added Venmo as a manual payment method, and here is what guests see during the booking checkout process.

Many OwnerRez users offer manual payment options for their guests, including CashApp, Venmo, and Zelle. Now, you can add custom icons to your CashApp, Venmo, and Zelle manual payment methods.

You can add your Manual Payment icons by navigating to Settings > Financial > Payment Methods > Edit your current CashApp, Venmo, or Zelle payment methods or add one. Search for and select your desired payment icon in the Icon section of the Custom Instructions Payment Method. In the Icon section of the Custom Instructions Payment Method, search for and select your desired payment icon.

Some users like to feature their channel listings to allow guests to see comparison of rates or bring more legitimacy to your websites. A couple channel brand icons are now available to you to aid in this. You can now add a Vrbo or Booking.com icon link or button to your hosted website header. Airbnb was already an available icon option. While we were adding these, we also went ahead and added a couple of OwnerRez icon options.

You can add a custom Vrbo, Booking.com, and even an OwnerRez icon link or button to your hosted website header.

To add icons to your hosted website header, navigate to your hosted website (Settings > My Website > Hosted Websites > your Hosted Website), click on the Header Layout, and select the area where you want to add your custom icons.

To add those icons, navigate to your hosted website ( Settings > My Website > Hosted Websites > your Hosted Website), click on the Header Layout, and select the area where you want to add your custom icons.

Create Support Tickets In-App

We all need a little help occasionally, and OwnerRez is here to help, as always. However, we've added an in-app way to create a support ticket for convenience and to give our helpdesk team even more context. Let me explain what that really means.

You start the in-app submission process by going to the Help menu and selecting Create Support Ticket.

You can check out our new Create Support Ticket process by clicking on the Help menu and selecting Create Support Ticket.

The Create Support Ticket pop-up will appear. Notice that the Create Support Ticket pop-up automatically includes your account profile name and email address. It will also display the context of your account if you're a Team Access Staff user.

You just need to provide the subject and a message. The best part is that this new process automatically includes the address URL of where you were in the app. Notice that there is a "URL where this happened" field, and it has already been filled in. This will provide context for the OwnerRez Helpdesk team for where you were in-app. If you create a ticket from just any page in the app, it won't necessarily provide the intended context, so keep that in mind if you plan to submit a ticket this way. The Create Support Ticket pop-up modal will appear, allowing you to send the Helpdesk a support ticket in-app

And don't worry; you can still use the Contact Us form (or email us at help@ownerrez.com). This new process is just another way to get assistance from the OwnerRez Helpdesk.

New Design Progress

Portal Sidebar Menu Design Update

With all the new OwnerRez 2024 Design Updates, we felt it was time to show our Team Access Portal some attention.

When Team Access Portal members log in, we've removed the unnecessary left navigation menu for a cleaner, unobstructed look and feel. The Portal name still appears at the top, and if you have a Branded Portal favicon configured, it will appear at the top left of the menu.

More In-app Keyboard Shortcuts

Are you a fan of old-school keyboard shortcuts? We are! OwnerRez has added two new in-app keyboard shortcuts to trigger global actions from the Tools menu that will work on corresponding in-app pages.

  • Ctrl + Alt + Q - Open a Quick Quote pop-up at all times
  • Ctrl + Alt + C - Open a Find or Create Guest pop-up at all times

Enhancements & Tweaks

Option to Schedule Future Payments Automatically When Collecting a Payment

It's vital that your guests pay for their reservations on time. You must provide your guests with clear instructions for payment, send reminders when needed, and have a hassle-free and secure payment process.

However, sometimes, in our haste, we forget that "collecting" a payment, especially with Pending Bookings, does NOT automatically schedule future guest payments.

So, how did this appear in OwnerRez before this release?

Old OwnerRez Collect Payment without Schedule Remaining Payments selected as the default.

With the July 10th release, OwnerRez has added a Schedule Payments section that automatically schedules future payments and security deposits (if configured) by default.

OwnerRez has added a Schedule Payments section that automatically schedules, by default, future payments, and security deposits (if configured).

Even though the Schedule Payments? is checked by default, users can always choose to "uncheck" those when collecting a payment.

Hopefully, this enhancement will help ensure your guests pay for their reservations on time.

Channel Bridge v13

OwnerRez Channel Bridge is a Chrome browser extension that allows you to log in to your listing site accounts, download your data (bookings and/or reviews), and upload it directly into OwnerRez in one smooth operation.

Most users use Channel Bridge to download and import reviews (Airbnb, Vrbo, and TripAdvisor) and bookings (Airbnb and Vrbo), if they are not yet API-connected.

OwnerRez released Channel Bridge v13, which includes new compatibility improvements and a full overhaul to comply with Google Chrome's Manifest v3 requirements.

OwnerRez has released our latest Channel Bridge v13.0 version, which includes new compatibility improvements and an update to Google Chrome's Manifest v3.

You do not need to update your Channel Bridge extension. As long as your Chrome browser is up to date, it should automatically update your OwnerRez Channel Bridge extension.

Channel Bridge Rate Push Removed

OwnerRez adds a lot of new and great things, but every now and then, we must remove things. As of July 10, 2024, due to Google Chrome Manifest v3's lack of support, the Rate Push tool is no longer available. It was a long-deprecated feature that we knew would break at some point where we wouldn't be able to get it working again. That time arrived in July. We have found since removal, not too many users leveraged it any longer, and we've advised those users accordingly on other options.

Guest and Owner Contact Email Address Input Fields Simplified

Maintaining accurate guest and owner email addresses is essential for effective communication, supporting customer satisfaction, and enhancing the credibility of your vacation rental business.

Before the July 10th release, you could select the email address type when adding or editing guest and owner email addresses.

Before the July 10th release, when adding new guest and owner email addresses, you could select the email address type.

Unlike owner and guest phone numbers, the email type didn't always save as expected, and most owners and guests usually provided their preferred email address anyway. Therefore, OwnerRez determined that it was unnecessary to save email address types.

Now, guest and owner email addresses are added or edited without an email type, and you can always add additional emails to their contact information by clicking on + Add Email.

Guest and owner email addresses are edited and saved without an email type and you can always add additional emails to their contact information by clicking on + Add Email.

Cancellation Policy Information Added to the OwnerRez Bookings API v2

Cancellation Policies allow you to define in detail when refunds are given and, if they are, for what time periods and amounts. Passing your cancellation policy to OwnerRez partners just got better.

OwnerRez has added Cancellation Policy (IDs and description) and Renter Agreement (dates, names, and property URLs) information to the OwnerRez Bookings API v2.

OwnerRez has added Cancellation Policy (IDs and description) and Renter Agreement (dates, names, and property URLs) information to the OwnerRez Bookings API v2.

OAuth Logic Procedure Added to the OwnerRez API v2

Some OwnerRez partners found it confusing to call the API v1 to complete OAuth to be granted permission to access users' accounts. For clarification, OwnerRez has added the API OAuth Logic Procedure to our API v2 documentation.

Bug Fixes

July 3rd release with 16 bug fixes

Add Additional GA4 Config Logging. OwnerRez is implementing additional Google Analytics 4 configuration logging for Analytics Tracking, which collects event-based data from hosted websites, global landing pages, guest forms, widgets, bookings, etc.

Add Skip Booking Errors Option to Airbnb Channel Bridge. Some Airbnb Channel Bridge booking imports encountered booking errors. OR resolved this issue by adding a skip booking errors option to the Airbnb Channel Bridge process.

Add Support for Seasonal, Non-percentage Discounts with Google Vacation Rentals. Seasonal, non-percentage discounts did not pass correctly to Google Vacation Rentals (GVR), resulting in GVR content push failures. We fixed this bug to now support seasonal, non-percentage discounts being passed correctly to GVR.

Add Validation on Amenities Property Details to Prevent Setting 0 on Floors/Number of Floors. Following the June 2024 release of Additional Airbnb Amenities & Check-Out Instructions Added, property amenities, some property amenities configured to 0 floors, or 0 number of floors or 0 square feet/meters, returned errors when pushed to Airbnb. OR resolved this issue to prevent property amenities from being configured to 0 floors, or 0 number of floors.

Adjust Top Menu Navigation When Font Size Increased/Zoom on Mobile. Due to a code regression, some top menu navigation items became invisible when users increased display size or zoomed in on their mobile devices. We resolved this issue, and top menu navigation items are again visible when users increase display size or zoom in on their mobile devices.

Advance End Date When Picking Start Date in Ribbon Calendar Property Availability Filter. The Ribbon calendar property availability filter calendar wasn't advancing as expected, resulting in the availability end date displaying months prior to the availability start date. OR corrected this glitch by ensuring that the Ribbon calendar property availability filter calendar end date will advance as expected.

Enhance Akismet "Mark as spam" Auto-detection on Inquiries. Following the June 5th release of Automatic Spam Detection and Ability to Mark Inquiries as Spam, OwnerRez has refined and enhanced the Akismet "mark as spam" auto-detection configuration for inquiries.

Fix Syncing Deleted Door Codes to Kaba. The OR system was incorrectly syncing deleted door lock codes to Kaba. We fixed this bug, and deleted door lock codes will no longer sync to Kaba.

Fix Triggers With Invalid Retry Conditions. Following the June 2024 Inquiry and General Trigger Improvements release, triggers configured that had scheduled time retry conditions that were never achievable were disabled, and OR applied fixes to address the issue. All affected users were contacted via email, which notified them of the affected triggers and asked them to either review the changes made by OR and re-enable the original disabled trigger or address the issue by creating a new trigger and deleting the old trigger accordingly.

Fix Zero Guest Count on Booking.com Reservations. Some Booking.com (BDC) reservations omitted guest counts per room and encountered zero guest counts for the BDC reservation. OR resolved this issue by returning to the BDC reservation guest count if the room guest count is null or zero.

Increase Character Length Allowance on Push Notifications for Channel Messages. The channel message push notification preview character length limits were too small, resulting in truncated channel message push notifications. We fixed this bug, and the channel message push notification preview character length allowance has been increased to allow for improved channel message push notification previews.

Improve Performance When Loading Inbox Channel Messages. OwnerRez is adding index optimization when loading inbox channel messages to improve performance efficiency.

Prevent Crash Due to Date Format When Booking From Global Landing Page. When an OwnerRez account culture was configured to the short-date format of DD/MM/YYYY, it sometimes caused errors when guests attempted to book from the Global Landing Page via Google Vacation Rentals. OR corrected this glitch to ensure that bookings can be completed error-free on the Global Landing Page.

Prevent Deletion of Guest Record(s) Associated With Account SMS Number(s). The OR system incorrectly allowed users to delete guest record(s) associated with account SMS phone number(s). We resolved this issue by no longer allowing users to delete guest record(s) associated with account SMS phone number(s).

Reduce Font Size on WWW Search Results Search Speed. The OwnerRez public search (e.g., Support Center, Forums, Blog, Guides, etc.) results speed display font size was too large. OR has corrected this glitch, and the OwnerRez public search results speed display font size will be the proper size.

Skip Disabled Checkboxes When Using Grid View "Select All." The "select all" grid column header incorrectly selected disabled checkboxes. We fixed this bug, and the "select all" grid column header will no longer select disabled checkboxes.

July 10th release with 8 bug fixes

Add "Possible Airbnb Duplicates" Area for Some Users to Manage Certain Messaging Threads First-hand. We noticed some possible unnecessary duplicate contacts in OwnerRez from Airbnb. Because this duplication isn't automatically verifiable OR created a quality fix tool to allow affected users to manage and merge these duplicate guest entries to combine the contact details and any messaging threads. All affected OwnerRez users were emailed with instructions on Thursday, July 11, 2024.

Clean up Menu Quirks in Hosted Sites When Using Blog. Some hosted websites that had a blog configured occasionally encountered blog post page menu irregularities. We corrected this issue, and hosted websites with configured blogs will be displayed properly.

Enhance Global Landing Page Guest Form Usability. The Global Landing Page (GLP) guest booking form used for Google Vacation Rentals (GVR) didn't accurately display rule violations (number of children, no pets allowed) or allow guests to adjust their booking requests to align with property rules or availability. We fixed this bug to ensure that property rules are enforced by adding additional checks and allowing guests to adjust their booking requests to align with property rules or availability.

Fix Issue Where the BBACT Merge Field Wasn't Including Card Details When Sent by a Trigger. Some message templates with the {BBACT} Billing Activity field code included didn't correctly display credit card details when sent by a trigger. OR resolved this issue, and message templates with the {BBACT} Billing Activity field code included will now correctly display credit card details when sent by a trigger.

Fix a Time Rendering Issue With Trigger Tooltips. Scheduled time triggers configured with later times, displayed incorrect tooltip times when hovering over booking message templates. The tooltip indicated that the trigger would send the template at the current time rather than the actual configured scheduled time. We corrected this glitch to ensure that the template tooltip hover display times are correct.

Improve Handling of Airbnb Fees During Refunds. Some refunded Airbnb fees were inadvertently processed and displayed as fees rather than an offsetting negative fee. OR resolved this issue, and refunded Airbnb fees will be properly processed and displayed.

Resolve Issue Where SMS Messages Would Sometimes Not be Shown in Communication History. Occasionally, SMS messages were not correctly displayed in the in-app Communication History area. We fixed this bug, and all SMS messages will now be correctly displayed in the in-app Communication History area.

Resolve an Issue With Property Ordering in Some Widgets. When a custom internal property display order that was not alphabetical was configured while leaving the external display order as the default order, the external display order incorrectly displayed the custom display order in some widgets. OR corrected this glitch to ensure the property display order configured in the widgets will display properly.

July 17th release with 16 bug fixes

Display Guest's Full Name for Airbnb Historic Booking Transactions. When users imported AirBnB historical bookings, some guest records only displayed the guest's first name. We resolved this glitch so that the guest's full name is displayed when users import AirBnB historical bookings.

Fix Airbnb Transaction Sync Issue for Future Bookings. Airbnb transactions for future bookings that came in before enabling the Transaction Sync encountered no transactions because deposits were not yet processed. OR corrected this issue by automatically merging transaction events for future bookings.

Fix Channel Integrations to Send Modified Triggers After Channel Caused Booking Change. Triggers configured to send a template for channel booking changes encountered trigger failures for some channel initiated booking modifications. We resolved this glitch to send templates by triggers for channel initiated booking modifications correctly.

Fix Schlage Lock Code Generation Due to Guest Name Validation. The Schlage API does not support some non-English characters, resulting in Schlage door lock code generation failures for guests with non-English names. OR fixed this bug to filter out characters the Schlage API does not support.

Fix Schlage Lock Issue to Send Guest Names in Proper Format to Schlage. Some guest names were sent without spaces between them, resulting in some Schlage door lock code failures. We resolved this issue by sending Schlage guest names in the correct format.

Fix SMS Message Activity From Showing Incorrect Status. Even when delivered, some SMS messages incorrectly displayed "failed" Activity statuses in the detailed message view. OR corrected this glitch, and SMS Activity statuses will be correctly displayed in the detailed message view.

Fix Widgets to Always Pass Arrival/Departure Dates to Each Other When Clicking Through Links. Some booking arrival and departure dates failed to be passed when links were clicked. We fixed this bug to ensure that booking arrival and departure dates are correctly passed when links are clicked.

Fix Wording on Property Share Page. The text below the Create Property Share, GATrackingID field contained a grammatical error: Property Shares will use your user-level Google Analytics Tracking ID by default, or you can override with different Google Analytics Tracking ID here. OR corrected this grammatical error by including the letter "a" between "with different."

Fix Wording on Trigger Create Page. On the Create Trigger page, the Schedule radio button was incorrectly labeled Scheduled Time, and when selected, the heading displayed the incorrect text of Immediate. We fixed this issue, and the Schedule radio button and heading will display the correct Schedule and Scheduled text on the Create Trigger page.

Handle Airbnb/Vrbo Listings Without WWW Prefix on Property Import. Occasionally, some Airbnb and Vrbo property listing imports that did not include the www prefix failed to locate and import the Airbnb and Vrbo listing numbers. We resolved this glitch by scraping the imported Airbnb and Vrbo property listings that do not include the www prefix to locate and import the corresponding listing numbers correctly.

Improve Bulk Listing Import Performance for Airbnb/Vrbo. Some users encountered Bulk Listing Import timeout failures when importing large sets of property data that included Airbnb/Vrbo listing URLs and room/listing IDs, likely due to requests made to each URL to get the final destination URL. OR corrected this issue by improving the Bulk Listing Import process by checking the URL format for known formats.

Rebranding of Yapstone to VRP (Vacation Rent Payment). Yapstone is now VRP (Vacation Rent Payment). We have updated all former Yapstone text and logos to VRP in-app and in the Support Center.

Resolve Further Issues With Property Ordering in Some Widgets. Some multi-property widgets failed to honor external custom sort orders as configured, resulting in an incorrect website property order display. OR identified the cause of this glitch and resolved it to restore multi-property widgets' external custom sort orders as configured.

Swap AVS Check on User Payment Alert. Contrary to our original intention, the automated user payment system Address Verification Service (AVS) failed to check addresses accurately, resulting in generic errors for failed addresses and AVS errors for generic errors. We fixed this bug by reversing the AVS check for the automated user payment system.

Tweak Trigger Forecast Filter Dropdown to Prevent Overflow. When users chose more than two triggers in the Trigger Forecast filter, the selected trigger dropdown text became too long and was no longer visible on desktop screens. OR corrected this glitch to display text correctly when more than two triggers are selected in the Trigger Forecast filter dropdown menu.

Various Improvements to Channel Bridge v13. Following the July 10th release of Channel Bridge v13.0 (CB), some users reported timeout failures on Vrbo CB payment reports in the new version. We resolved this issue by changing the default 300-second to 30-second CB timeouts, better logs, and multiple abort signals to assist users when CB failures occur.

July 24th release with 7 bug fixes

Exclude Home Page From Hosted Website Sitemap if Disabled. Some Hosted Websites inadvertently included disabled home pages in the sitemap, which could result in sitemap errors. We resolved this issue by no longer including disabled home pages in Hosted Website sitemaps.

Fix Airbnb Listing Import to Properly Flag Rooms as Private vs. Shared. The Airbnb listing import imported the private/shared field for rooms incorrectly. OR fixed this bug and the Airbnb listing import will import the private/shared field for rooms correctly.

Fix Alert-related Loading Issues Via Database Optimization. Some alert-based database queries caused indexing failures when sent. We resolved this issue through database optimization to ensure that alert-based queries will no longer cause indexing failures.

Fix Booking Changed Emails Sending When Nothing is Changed. We encountered a code regression that resulted in sending Booking Changed emails, even if there were no changes to the booking. OR corrected this glitch to ensure that Booking Changed emails are sent only if booking changes occur.

Fix Bug Where Existing Hosted Site Certificate is Assigned to Newly Copied Site. Following the July 17th release, we noticed some existing hosted website certificates were inadvertently assigned to newly copied hosted websites. We fixed this issue, and newly copied hosted websites will have certificates correctly assigned.

Fix Crash When Clicking Team Access Staff Configure Alerts Button. When some users clicked on the Team Access Alerts Configure button to set up alerts for a Staff Team Access member, they encountered a crash bang error. OR resolved this glitch, and users will no longer receive errors when configuring Team Access Staff member alerts.

Fix Issue With Saved Default Grid Filters That Include Dates. Filters (e.g., inquiries, booking list, quotes, etc.) with dates saved as a default filter encountered a display of "system.string []" rather than the expected date format on the grid display. We corrected this issue, and filters configured with a default date will display correctly on the grid.

July 31st release with 14 bug fixes

Adjust Pending Booking Status Label Length. If a user has configured their culture to display long date formats, their Pending Booking status label displays could be too large and obscure other pertinent information. OR resolved this issue by changing the Pending Booking Status label to only state the number of days or hours with a tooltip hover that displays the complete date.

Adjust Vrbo Pending Booking (RTB) to Callout Triggers Will Not be Sent Until Converted to a Booking. By design OR booking triggers do not send templates for Vrbo Request to Book (RTB) bookings until they are actually converted to bookings. However, the Vrbo RTB pending bookings callout trigger text display wasn't helpful or descriptive enough. We corrected the callout trigger text to display "This is a request to book. Triggers will not be sent until you convert this request to a booking." for Vrbo RTB pending bookings.

Fix Delete Fee Tooltip to Render Correctly. Some Delete Fee tooltips were not rendering correctly, preventing the tooltip text from displaying correctly. OR fixed this bug, and Delete Fee tooltips will render and display correctly.

Fix an Issue With Email Two-Factor Authentication for the Read-only Environment. Recently, some users were unable to receive a 2FA email when attempting to log into the OwnerRez read-only environment. We corrected this glitch, and users will be able to receive a 2FA email when attempting to log into the OwnerRez read-only environment.

Fix a Permissions Issue Preventing Team Access Staff Users From Enabling Alerts. Due to a bug, some Team Access Staff member users who had been granted permission to receive alerts were not able to enable alerts. OR fixed this bug, and Team Access Staff member users who had been granted permission to receive alerts will now have the ability to enable alerts.

Improve the Behavior of Certain Time-based (Scheduled) Triggers. Some time-based scheduled triggers configured with no retries incorrectly sent templates following a booking change that shouldn't have triggered to send the template. We resolved this issue to ensure that time-based scheduled triggers will run correctly.

Have In-app Search Load Immediately and be Less "Sticky" With Results. The in-app search tool was slow to display search results due to the requirement to "remember the last search query." OR optimized the in-app search tool by eliminating the need to "remember the last search query."

Prevent Hosted Site Logos From Covering up Navigation Links/Buttons. On some hosted websites, the header icon link or logo covered up or obscured other clickable links, making it impossible to click on the "book now" button or navigate to any other covered or obscured links. We corrected this glitch to ensure the header icon link or logo no longer obscure other clickable links.

Prevent Invalid Options From Appearing on the Hosted Site Editor. Some hosted website header editors allowed the incorrect option to add individual Blog Post links to hosted website header links. OR resolved this issue, and individual Blog Post links will not be available in the hosted website header editors.

Provide Better Defaults for Reviews Sent to Google Vacation Rentals. Some users with eligible Google Vacation Rentals (GVR) reviews encountered reviews that erroneously displayed their business name as the reviewer rather than the reviewer's guest name. We corrected this glitch by sending the reviewer's guest name to GVR if possible.

Provide More Specific Reasons Why Triggers Were Skipped. Tooltips explaining why certain triggers are skipped were not a sufficient enough explanation. OR has updated those tooltips to provide more specific reasons about why the triggers were skipped.

Resolve an Error With Payment Acceptance for a Few Vrbo RTB Bookings. Some users encountered payment acceptance errors with some Vrbo Request to Book (RTB) bookings. We resolved this issue to ensure that Vrbo Request to Book (RTB) booking payments are properly accepted.

Tweak the Wording on Certain System Messages to Read More Naturally. The phrasing or wording in certain OR system messages did not read very smoothly, so we've made some grammatical tweaks to those specific system messages.

Use Numeric Not Percentage in "Send Pending Cancellation Reminder to Guest (Payment)" System Message. The OR system message "Send Pending Cancellation Reminder to Guest (Payment)" displayed a percentage rather than the correct payment monetary amount required. OR fixed this grammatical error to correctly display the monetary payment amount required.

Hello,

In reviewing prior feature requests about Tag automation one that seemed to be a Key request was to be an able to automate tags based the existence of surcharge items. The capability seems to have been left off this initial release. Should we expect an update in the near term adding this capability or do we need to continue to make this feature request. Operationally I don't understand the value of the other triggers since before we could create views based on the same triggers - especially now with saved views. However, being able to automate tags based on surcharges adds a lot of capability about automatic messaging for additional services. This would be especially useful since guests can add these items during a check out process and therefore since there isn't any human intervention there is no way to flag prepping of the property without manually going through charges on a listing. One of the primary needs is to manage Pool Heating so if this can be in place soon it would be very helpful for the upcoming season. This issue is a highlighted shortcoming in the Instructions for Add-ons

Great reminder about the need for surcharges. You're 100% correct, Ocean Zen!  We do know that those are needed, but it is not currently scheduled or tasked, so I would suggest creating a new feature request and up-voting that one.

The current feature request for Tag Automations is here:

https://www.ownerrez.com/forums/requests/auto-tags-or-by-trigger

I'll check with the team, but I believe this one is scheduled to be closed out as "Released" shortly.

Looks like there are already other requests around tag automation and surcharge criteria:

https://www.ownerrez.com/forums/requests/triggers-or-tags-activated-by-surcharges#73780
https://www.ownerrez.com/forums/requests/auto-apply-a-tag-for-surcharges#74123
https://www.ownerrez.com/forums/requests/automatic-tags-based-on-optional-surcharge#69435
https://www.ownerrez.com/forums/requests/add-tags-to-surcharges#65886

So probably no need to create another one.

I checked with the team, and yes, the "need to add surcharge criteria" is already flagged for the v2.
