At a minimum it would be really helpful if OR created individual payment types under "other" and let guests select one rather than just leaving hosts guessing what alternative payment to expect. Am I getting a check? Should I look for Venmo? Was it Zelle? PayPal? At least it would be nice if we got a notice that the agreement was signed and "Venmo" was chosen.
I wouldn't expect to see an option in OR to allow direct Venmo payments. I don't think Venmo supports that for peer to peer payments. You'd probably need a Venmo for business account and at that point you might as well just take credit cards instead.
