I really wish you offered a widget which would allow a person to search availability - and THEN, when the available properties are shown, actually have a "BOOK" button where the person can then immediately book an available property.

Right now, you can't do that. You can do the availability search, which shows available properties and the guest can then click on any one for more info. But then, in order to actually book that property, they have to AGAIN enter their dates and start a booking process.

This should be more integrated. Almost every single hotel/accommodations site lets you search for availability, then immediately book an available room/property. Instead of going through a search to see available properties, then having to do a separate process with the selected available property to enter the dates AGAIN in order to begin booking.

Why can't the availability search result in a booking button to immediately book any property returned as available on their dates?

There's an overhaul of the Widgets planned for the coming year, and, something along the lines of this feature will likely be added.  Note however that it's more complicated than you might suppose, given the constraints of some of the systems Widgets are commonly used in, such as Wix.  It might not even be possible at all for those.

Thanks I'm really glad to know it's in the works!

I'm not using Wix anymore, I'm on Wordpress. This would be a REALLY useful widget to have. It's how people are used to booking hotels - seeing availability then going straight to book from there.

Having to go through the second step of seeing availability, THEN still needing to choose the property and re-enter dates, I feel adds an unnecessary step and barrier than can potentially contribute to people falling off at that point.
