Is there any way NOT to prorate holiday rates on split weekly stays?

I have a quote that spans part of 4th of July period and part of regular summer rate. I want only prorate at week rate if they take entire week during holiday period(defined as Jun 30 - Jul 7). But They are taking only part of holiday week. What I see is this:

is there a way to avoid prorating if less than 7 nights are holiday nights? is my setting wrong someplace?

What if you set the week rate for the holiday period to prorate up only and put a night rate in? Does that get what you want?

I see you have some at All and some at Extra right now. Let me know if changing them to Extra fixes it. If not, it's probably prorating across both seasons, i.e. for a week long booking that spans 2 seasons, it sees the week and prorates even if the rates in each season have less than a week. To control that, we'd need to add a setting so prorate only works inside a season.

I set the Independence day week rate to: "Use this rate for bookings with the same or more number of nights " and rate for the night $379 or with blank.
it is still prorating.

Any update?

Yep, we looked into this and it's going to take a code change to fix. Basically what happens is that prorate takes into account all seasons by default. So we need to add a "only prorate inside this season" option to each season, so you can set and control that behavior on a season by season basis.

Any update on when this code fix will be added ?

Should be in the next week or two, depending on holidays.

This has been released. You can now go to a rate, choose Pro-Rate for same or more nights, and pick "only use matching seasons". That will prorate only for the period inside the season, not based on entire booking length.

I have set up "Holiday" season Dec 21, 2018 - Jan 4, 2019. But when I try rate tester, it says rate cannot be calculated. Tried dates Dec 21-26, 2018

That's because the no prorate outside season setting is working so it's not using the weekly rate or prorating it, but you don't have any nightly rates for the period -- so no rates apply.

Add a nightly rate to use when the weekly rate doesn't match and it should rate out correctly with that.
