Leaving Hostaway because of their booking fee?

Glamping Hub Setup & Connecting

OwnerRez has partnered with Glamping Hub to provide an integrated API connection between the two systems. This allows OwnerRez users to handle their listings and bookings from Glamping Hub efficiently. Our Channel Management feature is extremely powerful and can significantly simplify your channel advertising. Learn how it works by reading our Channel Management Overview article.

Glamping Hub - List your property with the world's leading luxury and experiential accommodations booking platform. Glamping Hub is the leading booking platform for unique accommodations in nature, listing a variety of cabins, domes, tiny houses, tree houses, safari tents, and more. Glamping Hub was the original glamping marketplace when it was founded in 2013. They have booked thousands of guests looking to reconnect with nature. They offer close to 20k listings across 110 countries. When you list with Glamping Hub, you have access to all the benefits of their partnerships — your property will also be visible on Kayak and Google Travel for even more exposure, and the best part is that it's free to list!

Glamping Hub is set as an instant book channel inside of OwnerRez. However, Glamping Hub can set you as booking request only. It means that you will have to log into the Glamping Hub dashboard to communicate and confirm your bookings from their side, and the bookings will not show up in OwnerRez until they are confirmed.

PLEASE NOTE: Glamping Hub will still be set as an instant book channel in OwnerRez regardless of what Glamping Hub has you set on their side. If you have Airbnb set as request to book, you will not be able to activate Glamping Hub unless you switch to instant book for Airbnb.

If a booking is submitted less than 24 hours before check-in, it will revert to a booking request if the advance notice selector is not set up. Hosts can set up their advance notice window to allow same-day instant bookings up to the hour of their choosing. This must be set for each individual listing and can be updated directly in your GlampingHub host Calendar tab > Calendar Availability > Advance Notice for each unit, or you can Contact Glamping Hub to let them know if you'd like it updated for all.

Property must meet Glamping Hub's glamping criteria: Must haves:
  • Immediate access to nature, secluded
  • Unique accommodation/structure
  • Good quality photos
  • Basic amenities provided (beds, toilets, running water, etc.)
  • Examples include cabins, yurts, safari tents, tree houses, domes, tipis, airstreams, wagons, etc.
Not applicable:
  • Houses, condos, townhomes, RVs, and apartments
  • Not located in a residential area, no visible highways or buildings from the accommodation

What is synchronized?

Our integration pushes listing content, rates, availability, bookings, and reviews to Glamping Hub. Glamping Hub will send you bookings with full charge details.

Listing content updates: After the initial sync occurs, you can request that GH update information from the integration by emailing support@glampinghub.com.

  • Photos are updated anytime a photo change is made within 3 days.
  • A maximum of 40 photos will be displayed on the Glamping Hub website for guests to see.
  • Glamping Hub does not currently support custom cancellation policies configured in OwnerRez. Instead, it maps the OwnerRez cancellation policy to one of the six cancellation policies that it offers that most closely matches what is set up in OwnerRez.
  • Glamping Hub receives tax information from OwnerRez as a fixed amount, not a percentage. Glamping Hub then calculates the tax percentage based on this fixed amount, which can cause discrepancies in the tax percentage and fees. Despite this, the total booking amount should always be accurate in the live quote.
  • With the exception of fees labeled as “Service fee” or “Security/Damage Deposit,” configured in OwnerRez, all fees will be imported into Glamping Hub, summed together, and displayed as a “Host Admin Fee.”
  • If you wish to see a booking's price breakdown, you must log in to your Glamping Hub host dashboard.
